CMLS maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect client information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

01Security Platform

CMLS uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection and Cloudflare-aligned security controls for edge protection where configured. Application safeguards are also used to support secure document processing and account access.

02Security Measures

CMLS implements safeguards including:

  • Secure digital storage systems.
  • Controlled access to client files.
  • Role-based access for staff.
  • Encrypted or protected data transmission where available.

03Access Control

Access to client information is limited to:

  • Authorized personnel involved in service delivery.
  • Systems necessary for document processing and tracking.

04Transmission of Information

While CMLS takes reasonable steps to protect data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Clients acknowledge that:

  • Information may be transmitted via email, mail, or third-party systems.
  • Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

05Client Responsibility for Security

Clients are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their own records.
  • Ensuring secure communication channels when sharing sensitive data.

06Incident Response

In the event of a known security issue affecting client data, CMLS will take reasonable steps to:

  • Investigate the matter.
  • Mitigate potential impact.
  • Notify affected parties as appropriate.
